Nexgen was experiencing an 8% error rate on e-way bills — meaning 32 trucks per day were at risk of detention. Over 12 months, they averaged 12 actual detentions per month, each requiring 2-3 days to resolve.
Our Integration Solution
We built a real-time validation layer that sits between Nexgen's ERP and the NIC e-way bill portal:
- HSN code validation against the official GST HSN master
- Transporter GSTIN verification to catch lapsed registrations
- Value threshold checks to ensure correct e-way bill trigger
- State boundary detection for multi-state consignments
The system also auto-generated consolidated e-way bills for multiple invoices to the same destination — reducing paperwork by 60%.
